This quote is meaningful in several ways. However, I believe that it is most important for understanding how stories are told and written. Many Views fiction something sounds exist however all fiction is developed from some form of reality. This is why stories feel real to people because they are closely based on real people and principles and best characters are those to whom people relate or try to understand because they feel so reel. The best characters that shape the best stories are those that feel real but what makes a character feel real.
That is where we come in
Reflective fiction Is a blog dedicated to the minds of your favorite characters. Understanding them better through real psychological ideas, theories and principles. This Blog Is dedicated to understanding the role of both psychology and real life as a whole in shaping the best of fiction written by someone who cares about the material. For two main reasons.
Education
This blog will not assume any previous level of knowledge in the field of psychology or any adjacent field. I hope To be able to educate silver’s on the concepts discussed weather they are a student of psychology looking for examples, a writer looking for advice on writing characters or simply someone who wants to learn about the concepts discussed.
Entertainment
This is just as important as the above. I fully intend for there to be people here who just want to read about their favourite characters or a character they found interest in. You are more then welcome here and if you are here for this reason alone and are worried about me twisting material to make it easier on myself in analysis allow me to reassure you, my friend. First psychology is not always easy in the real world so pretending it is here for me would just make my future harder and secondly I am not a game journalist (looking at you Ignorant IGN). I have played and watched a lot of what I talk about and if I haven’t, I will do my research.
MOST IMPORTANTLY If you have differing opinions to me please share them I encourage it if I have missed a line or two that you think is crucial, please share it (respectfully of course) I have no problems with discussion and criticism and highly encourage discussion in this community.
